Rico's 17 is a really nice takeaway all the food is absolutely delicious and definitely worth the money you wont ever be disappointed its my 1st time buying food from there because im not from Southsea iv only came down for a week holiday with my mother and we both absolutely loved the food the burger i had was so nice and the fish cake and chips my mum had as well was so nice we will definitely be buying food there again soon before we travel back home to Worcester in the west Midlands.

The fish and chips were cooked to perfection. The fish was crispy and flaky, and the chips… just amazing, really good chips Huge portions, great value, and you can tell there’s real passion behind the food. Loved every bite!

Ordered via Uber eats - delivered by store staff The food arrived hot, fresh and tasty and came to a reasonable cost. The "plain burger" is definitely anything but plain. It was juicy with fresh lettuce which still had it's crunch and had an extra crisp note added from the potato sticks. The only criticism here is that the bun was slightly soggy due to condensation as the burger came wrapped in a little white bag. It would have probably done better in paper. (4 out of 5) The potato wings served with melted mozzarella and "crispy" bacon was delicious however in my opinion the potato was a little dry and therefore definitely needs the sour cream dip but also the bacon could have been crispier. (4 out of 5) The BBQ wings meat was moist and skin was crispy. Served with a cute little side salad and a slightly overpowering blue cheese dip (4.5 out of 5) Brazilian churos are little balls of fluffy delight. A little confused at first as the dip is a dark chocolate sauce and not a dulce de leche as advertised. HOWEVER when I bit into 1 I was delighted to find the churo balls were actually filled with the dulce de leche. This was a great surprise which earned top marks. (5 out of 5) Overall great food with some minor tweaks to make it hit perfection overall score 4 out of 5 (would give 4.5 if Google let me)

Great little place that serves the best chip shop chips I've ever tasted - the kind of perfect, crisp, chunky-cut chips you'd expect in a high end restaurant. And the fish was excellent, too. All served with a friendly smile - and fantastic home-made green garlic sauce.
